RETAIL SALES REPRESENTATIVE
We are an up and coming cellular provider with tremendous opportunities for those who want to work hard, learn, take care of customers and take on added responsibilities. As a retail sales representative, you will learn our business from the ground up. We are looking for honest, friendly, motivated individuals who enjoy interacting and educating others in an incentive based environment.
Responsibilities
Attend scheduled sales, customer service, product training and other meetings. Learn the features of our products and what their advantages and benefits are for customers. Greet customers, entice them to ask about our products and ascertain what each customer wants or needs. Open and close cash registers, balance cash against receipts and make deposits. Maintain knowledge of current sales and promotions, policies regarding payment and exchanges, and security practices. Compute sales prices, total purchases and receive and process cash payments. Maintain records related to sales. Watch for and recognize security risks and thefts, and know how to prevent or handle these situations. Recommend, select, and help locate or obtain phones or accessories based on customer needs and desires. Describe merchandise and explain use, operation, and care of phones and accessories to customers. Arrange and display merchandise to promote sales. Inventory stock and requisition new stock. Wear proper business attire when working that meets the company’s dress code policy. Represent the company positively at all times.
Minimum Qualifications
Prior retail sales experience is desirable, but not necessary. A successful Sales Representative has good communication skills and enjoys interacting with customers. All Sales Representatives are required to successfully complete a training and probation period of up to 90 days after the date of employment. He or she must be able to pass a criminal/theft background check.
